In memory of Raymond Berthiaume, a wonderful father, grandfather and friend, who passed away July 28th, 2001.

They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal.
But neither time nor reason, will change the way we feel.
For no-one knows the heartache, that lies behind our smiles.
No-one knows how many times, we have broken down and cried.
We want to tell you something.
So there won't be any doubt.
You're so wonderful to think of but so hard to be without.

It is hard to believe that 19 years ago we had lost an important person in our Family at such a young age. My Step-Dad who past away.
I saw the love you had for Mom,
For her you were just right!
I could see love light up her eyes,
Every time you were in sight!
In Our Hearts
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.
Those tear drops have meaning,
So don't hold back.
They'll clean up the spirit,
And keep the soul right on track.
We know you are up there...
With God and His Best.
Cause you came and studied,
Then...you passed His Test!
There was never a moment when he didn't know how to control a situation. His words were of wisdom. He always took every situation into consideration and in his stride, with dignity and care. He taught us to think logically and patiently, and be more appreciative towards life and other people, and to live life to the fullest.
He was always thoughtful and attentive to his family and friends and considered them more then himself, even to the very end, though it meant him suffering himself. His priority was always his family. The greatest gift he had was the ability to keep smiling through any situation. His sense of humor distinguished him from others. He was known as a gentleman and a good friend to others.
The profound shock of his death has been overcome by the warmth that comes with our father's spirit. God took him away from us suddenly, but then god only takes the good. He was the best and always will be. He is a man to be proud of. We will never be able to speak to him nor see him, but he is here in our hearts. We will always cherish the time we had with our father and his memory shall live with us forever. We hope your journey to the place of rest fulfills your dreams. Take these words of comfort and rest in peace. We will love you always and forever.
