Ann Shirran, who used to write a very biting and hard hitting column for the Algoma News has gone missing from her residence in St. John's, Newfoundland. Both Ann and her sister Cheryl Therrien used to live in Wawa, until they moved to Newfoundland. Her sister Cheryl is reaching out via e-mail to everyone who might have any contact with her, and is hoping that someone might have information.
From the Telegram:
"The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the public's assistance in locating her. She has been missing since Sunday, July 18. She is about 6' tall, 170 pounds, has shoulder-length brown/auburn hair and blue eyes. When last seen, Shirran was wearing black pants, a white sleeveless top and flip-flops."
IF you see Ann, or think that you know anything, you can call these numbers:
RNC 24 Hr Line 729 8000
RCMP (24 hour province wide) 709 7267
And of course Crime Stoppers is 1 800 222 Tips (8477)
