This year, the Wawa Winter Carnival is featuring a new contest!
"Knit a Carnival Toque" using the following pattern, and win a prize. Prizes are being offered for Best Themed, Best Colour and Most Original. Everyone must follow the same pattern, however, you can choose the colour and type of wool. You can alter the pattern, within the design - perhaps add beads, fuzzy eyelash wool, add stitches, cables.
Drop off your completed toque at the Best Start Hub on Broadway Avenue, or the Community Centre's Pro-Shop. You have until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th to knit your toque!
