Peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Center on Monday February 8, 2010 in his 81st year. Loving husband of Lois for 57 years. Cherished father of Mardie Lindemann (Don) of Edson, Alberta, Merv Wheatley (Bonnie) of Blackpool, British Columbia and Garth Wheatley (Michelle) of Wawa. Proud grandfather of Shawna, Angela, Lorelei, Kenneth, Glenn and Tiffany. Great grandfather of 5. Dear brother of Glen Wheatley (Norma) of Regina, Saskatchewan, the late Beth Edkins (late Roy), the late Stewart Wheatley (late Joan) and the late Gordon 'Porky' Wheatley (Rosa). Brother-in-law of Joyce Carlson (Glenn) of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Terry Wall (Ruth) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and the late Dena Sonley (late Stewart). Duncan will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the First United Church, Wawa on Thursday, February 11, th 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bonnie Rayner officiating.
