The Wawa BIA wishes to announce that it will be sponsoring the Snow*Ice*Light Display Contest as part of the Winter Carnival being held on Feb. 19-21. The Theme this year, of course, is the Olympics. We are expanding the contest to include a lighting display that has the Olympics concept, for those that are not able to make a snow or ice sculpture.
The prize breakdown is as follows:
First place - $100 BIA Bucks;
Second place - $60 BIA Bucks; and
Third place-$40 BIA Bucks.
Entries will be judged by the public, as in past years. Photos will be posted at the arena, and the winners determined by who receives the most votes. Winning entries will be announced on Sunday, Feb. 21st.

The Wawa BIA is also encouraging our local businesses to decorate their windows, or an inside display, representing this Olympic theme. The winning business will have a plaque shown in their window, so check out their efforts, and see who was rated the favourite, as you are out and about over this weekend.
