The Wawa Police Service had the folowing occurences on Wednesday, the 6th of January, 2010. At approximately 1:07 a.m. officers investigated an assault which resulted in an injury involving a knife. Charged is Joyce Tookenay with assault with a weapon. She was arrested and released on conditions, she will appear on February 8th, 2010 to answer to the charges. At approximatly 12:15 p.m., officers received a complaint of assault which is still under investigation, charges will be laid. There were other miscellaneous calls for service such as snow by-law offence (parking), property checks and unwanted persons. |
