Help us drive the message home

The drive to work is a province-wide tour organized by the Ontario Federation of Labour to find out how the recession is really affecting working people. We will talk with thousands of Ontarians and listen to what they say we need to do to preserve and create good jobs and maintain strong public services for healthy communities. We will gather their input, stories and ideas over three weeks.

People and communities are hurting because of job loss and service cuts. No one and no community is alone in this struggle. Let’s tell the stories behind the statistics. We have solutions. We need you to help us make the government listen.

The Drive to Work tour starts June 8th from two points, Kenora and Oshawa, and finishes in Toronto on June 25th.

Follow our progress and hear what people are saying.  The caravan will be stopping in Wawa on JUNE 11 for lunch.  If you have a story to tell, get in touch with Lynn Dee Eason ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or Helene Scott ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).  We need Toronto to hear from people who are living the reality.  People from White River and Dubreuilville are invited to join the caravan as it passes through and join us in Wawa.  The caravan will continue on to an event in the Sault and all are welcome to accompany it.  The more the merrier so get your carpool organized to drive your message home!

From Kenora to Kingston, from Smooth Rock Falls to Smiths Falls, from Wawa to Windsor, people with something to say can speak and be heard.

Please join the Ontario Federation of Labour for any or all of The Drive To Work.
