St. Joseph is a happening place.
For Holy Week we have planned a mass for Tuesday morning and two assemblies for Thursday morning. The first assembly at 10:00 is open to all pre school children. Our drama club will perform The Grumpy Bunny written by Justine Korman. At 11:00 the older grades will assemble for a unique presentation of the Stations of the Cross in Tableau. Everyone is welcome.
Last week we were fortunate to have a Marg Davies from Apple Corporation here to teach students from grades 4-7 how to create and post their own podcasts. We hope that by the end of the year podcasts will be a regular feature on our website and magazine publication. Our pictures feature Marg giving instruction and the added personal touch with D’Aundra. Thursday afternoon will see the culmination of a great many student council initiatives. The winners of the door-decorating contest and Easter Basket will be announced. The Easter Egg hunt will begin and we hope that everyone will be wearing their spring bonnets. We wish everyone a safe, happy and enriching Easter weekend.
St. Joseph School is phasing in a French Immersion Program. We currently offer Immersion from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Three.
